Join us at the Fingal Village, nestled in the charming Walled Garden, where multiple council departments will engage with the public through a variety of interactive activities.
Library Services will showcase their Mobile Library Van, stocked with a variety of books and resources. Our libraries team have organised children's entertainment to delight kids of all ages throughout the weekend. Magician on Saturday from 2:30 to 3:30 PM and Whimsical Face Painting: both days from 2:00 to 4:00 PM.
Digital Services (IT) team will captivate attendees with immersive VR demonstration showcasing the magnificence of Swords cultural quarters and the exciting Balbriggan rejuvenation project, all experienced through the cutting-edge Oculus technology.
The Arts Department partnered with Graphic Studios Dublin for all to participate in a hands-on printing experience. Printing workshops & learn starts from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:00 to 4:30 PM.
Many other departments across the Council will be showcasing during the weekend of Flavours of Fingal and the Village will be opened from 11am until 5pm each day along with organisations like the Dublin Fire Brigade and An Garda Siochana showcasing their equipment and bike fleet.
